Burton "Burt" Gordy Estate Auction

Eastern Shore Auctions, Inc. is honored to have been selected to sell the estate of Burton "Burt" Gordy of Salisbury, MD.

As a young man, Burt worked for the City of Salisbury Public Works Department where he became a draftsman in the engineering office. He gained interest in surveying and became a self- taught surveyor who was quite proud that he passed the licensing test on his first examination. Upon obtaining a professional surveyors license, he was self- employed for several years. He later worked for the Wicomico County Public Works Department retiring in 1999 as Assistant Superintendent after 18 years of service.

Quality items include an antique Ralph Brothers (Bethel DE) corner cabinet, Kling dinette table with chairs, marble top tables and other furniture, a large selection of prints by Grover Cantwell, Jr., glassware, baseball cards, local books and other collectibles.
